You can try the following troubleshooting methods:
Method 1.
Try using Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode to install the PC suite and then Update drivers:
Follow the steps below to install this software in Windows XP SP2 Compatibilty mode:
1. Right click on the setup file.
2. Go to properties.
3. Click on Compatibility mode.
4. Place a check mark the box in the box in front of “Run this program in compatibilty mode for” and from the drop down menu choose Windows XP SP2.
5. Place a check mark on 'Run as an Administrator' under privileges level and click on Apply and then Ok.
6. Now double click on the setup file to initiate the install.

Method 2.
What you can do is uninstall the drivers from the device manager, and add mobile phone from Add Devices and Printers.
Step 1. Uninstall the drivers
1. Go to Start and right-click on Computer and select Properties. This will bring the Computer properties window.
2. On the left sidebar select Device Manager.
3. Then locate the Mobile and right click on it and click uninstall.
4. Restart the computer
Step 2. Add the phone in Devices and Printers:
Add the phone to your Devices and Printers section:
You need to avoid the PC Suite applications, and use the Devices and Printers in Control Panel.
1. Clcik on start and go to Control Panel.
2. Click on Devices and Printers and click on 'Add a Device'.
3. Once you click on Add a Device attach your Phone vis USB cable and click on Next.
4. and when it shows a 'realicon' for the phone, rightclick it to update the drivers.
since you are using Windows 7 64 bit make sure you have PC suite and Drivers specific for 64 bit edition.
