I decided to reload the drivers for the motherboard and I now receive 'failed to load hardware monitor driver'. In another thread someone said to download the drivers from the msi website. I have tried, calling it everything under the sun in the search bar and can't locate it. I am trying to install the drivers to my new MSI Z270 SLI Plus via the provided driver DVD, but I am left with the message, 'Failed to load.

Recently decided to do a fresh installation of Windows 10 since i just did the free upgrade from Windows 7. After going through all my drivers CD's i ended up popping in my MSI Motherboard drivers and it will not launch the CD. It tells me 'Failed to Load hardware monitor driver. This program must be ran as an administrator. Which i did try with no results. I believe it is because the Cd was intened for windows 7 and not 10 but when i go to the website to download the drivers they dont appear on my computer after extracting them. Any help would be greatly appreciate it.

Hey all, I recently built a new system. Everything has gone as smoothly as anyone could hope for. I noticed though that the Monitor is capped at 120hz, even though it's a 144hz monitor. When I go into my display settings it doesn't give me a option to go any higher.
Monitor is, MSI Optix G24C, plugged into a GTX 1080, with a Ryzen 7 1800x.
I just thought that was odd that its capped at that. MSI's website doesn't offer anything in the form of drivers for the monitor. Is it being held back by hardware configuration?
