1. Atheros AR5007EG Wi-Fi adapter does not work after upgrade to Windows10 After a couple of days trying I finally got my Toshiba Satellite 305 to update from Windows 8.1 pro 34x (upgraded from Vista) to Windows 10 in the latest phase of the roll out.

Steps to install the drivers for the Display Adapter.

1. Press Windows + R keys from the keyboard to open Run command.

2. In Run window type devmgmt.msc.

3. Then in device manager right click on Display Adapter.

4. Try to update the drivers from the option stating automatically update the drivers.

5. If it works fine otherwise try to search for the drivers with the help of model number of your computer from the Manufacturer’s website.

If you do not find the drivers for Windows 10 from the manufacturer's website, I suggest you to download Windows 8.1 drivers and install them in compatibility mode on Windows 10.

Compatibility mode runs the program using settings from a previous version of Windows. Try this setting if you know the program is designed for (or worked in) a specific previous version of Windows. To change compatibility settings manually for a program, right-click the program icon, click Properties, and then click the Compatibility tab.
